On June 7 2022, STIKOM InterStudi hosted a National Seminar and Call for Papers event. The highlight of the series of annual events with the theme “Openness of Information, Media, and Communication as an Accelerator for Indonesia’s Digital Creative Industries” was attended by students, academics from different fields of study, and practitioners, including representatives from the National Creative Economy Movement (Gekrafs).
This seminar was the peak of the series of events that was opened with brief remarks from the Head of STIKOM InterStudi, Prof. Dr. Martani Huseini. The session proceeded with an Activity Report by Ir. Sigit Pramono Hadi M.Si., the Head of the National Seminar.
This seminar explored the challenges, behavior, the latest research developments, practices, and opportunities that can be utilized to maximize digital technology support. The discussion was opened with presentations by speakers that represented practitioners, academics, and policymakers related to the themes discussed.
Before the highlight of the event, a few virtual talk shows between STIKOM InterStudi and Minerva Global with interesting topics were held.
The support of Minerva Global and PT Integrity Indonesia in the STIKOM InterStudi event demonstrates Minerva Global’s commitment to the field of education, particularly higher education. In addition, Minerva Global provides Education Verification services as a “one-stop platform”, that bridges the various pathways of incoming verification requests.
Through this platform, the process of document verification is more efficient in terms of time and resources. On the Education Verification platform, the name of the verifier is also recorded in the system, which maintains accountability in the verification process. Furthermore, TAT is measurable, therefore companies that are recruiting alumni can estimate when the verification results will be received.
In addition, verification is carried out in a two-step process: verification by academic staff and confirmation by supervisors, which drives the check-and-balance process. All results can be accounted for and guaranteed to be accurate. We also take several steps in the verification process to support the privacy of alumni data, one of which is by requesting a consent letter from alumni prior to conducting the check. As for universities themselves, partnering with Education Verification would be a huge effort to protect their reputation from the risk of fake diplomas.
Now you can ease the verification process with a few practical and measurable steps, maintain the reputation of your university, as well as support the careers of your alumni, all in one go. Be our partner today!
